Greetings! This week we focus a little on Spiritual Relationships based on a humorous email I received from a member.

Get a Better Husband by Being a Better Wife

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do? Signed, Desperate Soul

Dear Desperate Soul,

First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) Also do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7. Good luck Tech Support

Spiritual Relationship Advice

This is a common viewpoint I get from women regarding frustration in their relationships and subject to so very common flawed thinking based on Spiritual Laws and how the universe returns energy to you through Ying-Yang. We are often a little to quick to point a blaming finger at someone else instead of ourselves. This is your life, your Spiritual Journeyand your Path of Destiny. You have made your decision through freewill and are responsible for the results. Focus on what changes you can make. The only way our souls can evolve is through our Relationships. In this case we are talking about one of the most important ones, our spouse or soul mate. Men tend to look at these types of relationships differently than woman. To men, a marriage commitment instinctively represents the end of a hunt or a search. One shouldn't be surprised there is a big difference between Boyfriend 5.0 and Husband 1.0.Women generally consider the marriage commitment as a beginning and have more romantic fantasies about how the relationship will evolve. Women are instinctively "nesters", and see an opportunity in what a man can be become, instead of what he is. By design, the universe has created a Yin and a Yang for both and men and woman to evolve their relationships.

Male or female, when people come to me for spiritual relationship advice, I spend the first few sessions surviving a venting period of finger pointing. Once it's all out of the system, we can focus on a spiritual solution. The only thing you can control is the energy you put into the relationship. After all, it is your soul, your life, and your spiritual journey. If the results are less than what you want, than universal law says you are not putting the best energy out there in the first place. Time for a change.Boyfriend 5.0 is a fifth version. You did contribute to its perfection during versions one through five. Husband 1.0 is new and instead of looking at him with 5.0 expectations, think back to how Boyfriend 1.0 became 5.0. It was a return on your investment of energy. Husband 1.0 is no different, except how you are handling the situation. The solution is as simple as putting more effort and energy into creating Husband 2.0.The last line from tech support supports my plan. Try installing Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7. Those examples may not exactly apply, but "try installing" is a spiritual energy that leads to positive results.
